MRI / CT Clinical Training California

Pulse Radiology offers clinical training to radiologic technologists, ARDMS sonographers, radiation therapists, and nuclear medicine technologists in California.  The clinical range encompasses San Francisco, Palo Alto, San Jose, Sacramento, Los Angels, Riverside, Palm Springs, and Temecula.  These clinical locations through SimonMed Imaging, RadNet, Sutter Health, and Rayus Radiology are accessible for technologists within a 50-mile radius of these areas.

All radiologic technologists training within the Pulse Radiology network of clinical affiliates in MRI, CT & Mammography must display professionalism and superior patient care and acknowledge the importance of attendance.

What information will I need to provide?

You must submit and provide the following documentation to your clinical coordinator to become eligible for access to your clinical location:

  • Current State License
  • Current ARRT Registration
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Current Resume/CV
  • HIPAA Compliance Agreement
  • Tentative Weekly Clinical Schedule

How does the clinical training process work?

Upon completion of both the ARRT Structured Education course and submitted clinical documentation, you would be eligible for clinical placement.  To provide a consistent and comprehensive clinical training experience, you will follow the direction of your personal clinical coordinator in regards to communication, case submissions, and attendance.

You must complete the Pulse Radiology Online Structured Education program with a 75%+ grade before starting clinical training.  Please be advised approval from the clinical leadership at the affiliate centers will be conducted by the Pulse Radiology clinical coordination team and not every clinical location can accommodate each modality.  For any questions about clinical training, please email us at [email protected].
