MRI / CT Clinical Training Alabama
In Alabama, Pulse Radiology offers clinical training to radiologic technologists, ARDMS sonographers, radiation therapists, and nuclear medicine technologists. The clinical range is focused in Birmingham, with one location in south Alabama.
All radiologic technologists training within the Pulse Radiology network of clinical affiliates in MRI, CT & Mammography must display professionalism and superior patient care and acknowledge the importance of attendance.
What information will I need to provide?
You must submit and provide the following documentation to your clinical coordinator to become eligible for access to your clinical location:
- Current State License
- Current ARRT Registration
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Current Resume/CV
- HIPAA Compliance Agreement
- Tentative Weekly Clinical Schedule
How does the clinical training process work?
Upon completing the ARRT Structured Education course and submitting clinical documentation, you would be eligible for clinical placement. To provide a consistent and comprehensive clinical training experience, you will follow the direction of your personal clinical coordinator regarding communication, case submissions, and attendance.
Before starting clinical training, you must complete the Pulse Radiology Online Structured Education program with a 75%+ grade. Please be advised that approval from the affiliate centers’ clinical leadership will be conducted by the Pulse Radiology clinical coordination team, and not every clinical location can accommodate each modality.
